I wonder where it all started. The plotting and proxy wars of "great nations" who considered themselves to be of a superior race and decided that its cheaper to let the inferiors fight their wars. All the current great powers of the world are responsible for this violence of today. They started, perhaps in the name of strategic foreign policies, to support "few" men who were built to fight and had the coldness in the face of death, of both the ones they killed and of their own, to serve the ultimate aim of establishing their superiority over the other nation, the other superpower. Once the seed of violence is planted, then its but natural that it spreads, and "few" become many, claiming lives of the ones who sowed the seed and of those in whose fields these were sown, perhaps the latter first and more. Then we only have series of victims on both the sides. One unleashes more violence in the name of saving their "citizens" from "terrorists". And the other side without a legitimate international recognition, retaliates in its own ways, may be less sophisticated. It's chilling to see children killed on their beaches. It's equally chilling to see those hapless "citizens" jumping to their death, for otherwise they would be consumed by the fire of explosion anyway. The ones who started it are probably not even alive or in a position to exercise their power to stop it. They should have known when they started it. Would it have made a difference if they did? But now it looks too messy. Nations(?!) with tens of factions fighting among themselves and nations which are attacked by "terrorists" and then there is a single dimensional cry for "freedom of expression". Well if you insult the other because you want to insult, then repercussions are bound to be there, especially when the situation is filled with violence. No justification but can't we all see how it has grown into what it is now?
Solution? Well I can think of only one as of now. Might sound escapist. A complete reset of this whole world by nature That's the only time when the humanity is "treated equally" and I hope then we come to each other's help in those few last moments before we all perish. And then am sure someone will cry "Only if we had realised this before" It's funny. But yeah this is what I think..
